Dear Editor:

Yesterday Bill Moyers showed a video clip of our President, standing next to Tony Blair shortly after 911, citing an IAEA report that Saddam Hussein was six months away from deploying nuclear weapons. Fully three weeks later the Washington Times finally called the agency in question and discovered that there had been no such report. The President simply invented it. He looked into the camera and said: "I don't know how much more proof you need!"

I am one of thousands of people who want to know why the news media have become organs of propaganda, and why we are following a liar into a murderous war. I want to know why we have been so easily enlisted into an act of international piracy, and how so many alumni of our great educational system could be hoodwinked into thinking we are doing something decent.
