Re: Another reader opinion. I dont expect you to print it. I can understand your fear.
Yesterday Attorney General Ashcroft publicly declared that people who criticize the administration for eroding civil liberties and establishing military tribunals in place of constitutional due process are in fact aiding terrorists. People, that is, like myself. Taken together with the Presidents unequivocal position that anybody who aids a terrorist is himself a terrorist, the only conclusion I can come to is that I am a terrorist.
It is unacceptable to me that I am still at large, free to wantonly erode our national unity and diminish our resolve. I can only hope that, given this disclosure, I will be quickly hurried off to a secret tribunal, along with the terrorists who have harbored and aided and supported me in my activities: my terrorist wife and terrorist children, the terrorist employer who bankrolls my terrorist lifestyle, the terrorist schoolteachers who forced me to memorize the Bill of Rights, and hundreds of terrorist friends in whose homes I am welcome.
I have compiled a list of their names for the convenience of the FBI. The sooner we are locked up, the sooner America can be safe again.
